[Amazon.ca] Hisense TV QLED 2021 65U78G - $1400

$100 off the brand new model, great reviews. 75” is on sale as well, as is the U6 model for $1k

Hard to get a better bang for the buck than this model woth HDM1 2.1 and 120

This is the same price as Visions, the brick and Best Buy

Visions and the brick have it listed as a sale that ends on the 29th of July.

Those lucky enough to apply the business discount 25% off $1000 and it or the 55" become enticing.

55 inch is $998, it wouldn't qualify for 25% off $1000. Unless I am missing something.

After checking the 25CANREOPEN code, it comes back as invalid for either TV.

It's been this price for weeks. Multiple other stores had it listed as a sale ended "X" date then it was extended.

This TV also has some pretty serious issues right now in regards to gaming but is hopefully getting an update.

Lastly, I spoke to Hisense Canada and they said this tv will be in stock on Costco website in September

It works for anything up to a total of $1000. Can be separate items and orders.

Hmm, It works for me, so does BACK2WORK21 for a new account recently created.

For a part-used code, it shows as Promotional Credit already on the item page, before adding to cart.

Yeah baby! Nice, I just don't need another TV right now. Do I want it? yup. Ah man decisions.... I've already blown the purchasing budget this month.

I just got a 65" C1 yesterday and feel like a dope. Is this nearly as good or close enough? have the gaming issues been resolved now?

The C1 would have to be the better buy once you tune it up, I love my B1 C7 OLED ;)

I was lucky enough to have D'Nice tune it up for me, who is a well known U.S. calibrator.
He got the thing way better than I could get using tools I spent a fair few bucks on. He also knows all the tricks to get the best out of it.
We don't game on it mind you, it's just a movie machine. The whole family just love it as it really brings the best out of good source material.

Hisense 2021 Ux8G series is LED and is a lot brighter (especially U88G). LG C1 is OLED and is not known to be great for bright rooms,

No because u6 doesnt have hdmi 2.1 ports. The issue is affecting only 120hz ports running 60hz games. Huge blueish ghosting issue.

Hwever, im returning my u6g because of bad grey uniformity.
