[Amazon.ca] Home Workout Dip station Adjustable Height Pull/Push Up Bar Tower 139.99$

(First time posting on hot deals)
Amazon is having a Home Workout Dip station Adjustable Height Pull/Push Up Bar Tower for 139.99$ down from 209.99$.
I've been eyeing this for a while and now seems to be a good price to purchase.
For those wanting to start or expand their home gym, this would be a great addition.
Reviews doesn't seem that bad as well.

Always go through 1 and 2 starts reviews as well. Most of 5 star reviews can be fake for some products.

This. I only check "All Critical" under "All Reviews" for Amazon products. The less of these a product has, the more reliable it is.

I bought this at the start of covid. Its fine. I use it 2-3 days a week. I weigh 170 and put weights between my legs for more.

The width between the dip bars is 27.9", it seems too wide.

If you want to get a sense, take two chairs and get them 27.9 inches apart, to see if you are comfortable for your dip position.

I bought this for 105$. I have been using it regularly for last 2-3 months and it holds pretty well. I am around 190 pounds at 6 feet. If you can't do pullups and will shake all around to get yourself up, it might not be stable enough though

If you can't do pullups but are looking to start and looking ya this sweet power tower discount don't let it disuad you.

Stand in a chair and do a negative pulkup where u start in the top positions and try to hold yourself up there and slowly lower yourself down with your full body weight... Over time you will work the muscles to help you pull up not just go down!

Nice! Those with shoulder issues, get this for shoulder hangs. It's likely the best single most exercise for shoulder therapy & overall shoulder health one can do. It's worth buying for this alone.

If one can't do body weight as yet, then do leg assisted hangs with a box or similar.

I bought this exact set during lockdown when all the gyms were closed - at full price unfortunately.

It's solid enough for home use - I'm 6', 170 lbs. It will not tip over, but if you have a "kip" to your pull up, it will wobble slightly and creek...nothing close to tipping over, and once you get used to it, you are never worried.

Like the poster above said, i also got this partly for shoulder rehab. I had major shoulder surgery (laterjet) in Sep 2019. I'm super consistent with my rehab/physio and shoulder near 100% now. I'm doing multiple sets of pull-ups and dips a day. Also I've increased my deadhang to 90s now. Maybe I'll train for this: =)

Gee that's an easy way to make a $100. Too bad he isn't in my city. I've seen a challenge where the bar is freely rotating which makes it quite a bit trickier on grip strength. Now one handed hangs for a 100s would be a challenge.

Anyhoos for those trying out hangs for rehab or a noob, don't (I repeat...DON'T) go for the world record in your 1st week. Its very important to know your limits & pain isn't necessarily good. Hang until its getting hard & then stop. Do this multiple times daily & work your way up. No shame in doing assisted hangs either.

Its not about who can do more or beating yesterday's record. Its about shoulder healthWinking Face

I highly suggest getting a pull up assist bands set if you are a beginner. These are a set of elastic bands with different resistances that you insert a feet/knee into and tie the other end to the bar. They make things much easier, less discouraging and help prevent injuries.
