Based on the above, the vast majority of users would be ok with a 250GB drive. I dont see but a small fraction writing anywhere close to 54GB a day at least in terms of longevity, a 250GB drive should last most folks 10-20 years. Yup big SSDs are usually more of a convenience then necessity. But prices are really coming down so 1TB and many can forego a HDD entirely.
