[Amazon.ca] *HOT* $7.97 Sudocrem Diaper Healing Cream, 400gm & The Best time of Day to Buy It

[Amazon.ca] $7.97 Sudocrem Diaper Healing Cream, 400gm & The Best time of Day to Buy It

I have been purchasing and watching this item for over 2 weeks and this is what I have noticed in pricing.

All times are Eastern Standard Time

I have seen this price change usually 4 times during each day:

$7.97 @ around 2:00 am to 3:00 am Eastern Standard Time and the price will stay

$9.97 @ around 6:00 am to 7:30 am Eastern Standard Time and the price will stay

$14.97 @ around 8:00 am to 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time and the price will stay

$19.97 @ around 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time, this price will last all day until 2:00 am and then go back to $7.97

Limit is 3 items per order

TIPS:

#1. Use incognito mode (Google Chrome) or Private Window in other browsers to help eliminate Amazon tracking your search.

- Besides having a complicated pricing structure, Amazon also has a complicated pricing model. The company is a pioneer in dynamic pricing and makes over 250 million price changes every day. The average product's price will change once every 10 minutes, making it difficult for Sellers and consumers to keep up.

#2. Add this item to your wish list and only buy when the price drops. This will let Amazon know you are interested in buying but are not “ready yet”. Amazon will also send you a message via their App to let you know “an item on your wish list has decreased in price”.

Hope this helps,

Good Luck

Can't wait for the "Don't know what it is, but I bought it" RFDers.

I love the commitment to price action. You would make a good stock trader, OP!

Got this last price drop.

I find this the best time to shop for other things too! Unfortunately my body pays for it next day

I Agree, I have historically found most baby products to be at the lowest price during the day between 2 am to 6 am Eastern Standard Time.

Old dad has to wear diapers now, this would be a rather awkward Xmas gift though Face With Tears Of Joy

Also it's back to full price for me.

Thanks though.

OP made the exact same thread yesterday yet there was no sale. Now again. I find OP very suspicious. If he can take a lie detector test that would help.

Loaded the page and saw the PS5 in stock. Added to cart, and the Sudocream was still at regular price. Took the last sip of my beer, and low and behold, the Sudocream was $19.97! I thought for once living in PST would have a time advantage for my minus 5 month old baby. My wife is going to be pissed.

Showing as 19.97 right now. I appreciate the effort in the post. Being a new parent I also appreciate any deals on baby products!

Never used the stuff on any of my kids, but it's key for chaffing. Kept me going on occasion.

Good idea!

CCC shows the lowest price at 9.97, not 7.97 as OP says. Still, a good price, but prob not worth staying up unless you're a night owl anyways.

CCC price history graph does in fact show for the last few days that the price dropped down to 9.97 in some odd hours of the day. (probably as OP stated, but hard to verify from the detail of the CCC graph)
