Did you guys print photos up to now?

I printed a test photo from the iPhone and it looks like sh*t. Looks like those super compressed low res cam streams when on a 1080p screen, or like 256 color resolution on your monitor.
It did print it on the whole A4 page, but the photo was taken at the highest resolution.

I have no issue printing photos. Even on photo paper. In fact i always use this on printing also for DIY shirt design transfer now. Double check your settings.

They mail you a near-empty ink pack every month?
Maintaining the printer with test prints, etc -- does those count as a page? Dried up ink in nozzle is the 2nd worse

Bought one from Costco today. I just realized that the model sold by Costco is a bit different than the one sold by Staples (4522 vs 4520).
Does anybody know if any noticeable difference between these 2 models?
How much is this printer at Costco?

No, they mail you a supersized printer cartridge (larger than the XL size). It will last you many months. The printer tracks how many pages you print (even blank pages) and your plan limits how many you can print for your standard fee (or free for the 15 pages per month plan). If you go over the allowed number of pages it automatically bills your credit card that you provided when signing up for a batch of extra pages. The printer tracks how much ink is left and they mail you a new cartridge when you have less than enough ink to print twice as many pages you are allowed per month.

Costco price has been posted at least twice in this thread (page 1 and page 2). It is either the same price of slightly cheaper.

Those posts were from 2 weeks ago. Wasn’t sure if the Costco price was a sale price or regular price. Will check in store this weekend.

Wow this is the first I’ve heard of this type of service. I usually print at work or at the lib but need to time those so having something at home is convenient.

Did someone say the free ink for life can expire anytime?

Do you need a costco membership to order that online?

I think Costco deal is done too, shows $78 online (store is usually $5~$10 cheaper for an item this size).

Good thing I bought this a couple days ago. Showed up the next day and so far it's been working great!
