are there any specific diagrams that show how high the monitor can be raised ? I have a 32" regular (non-wide screen). Can I rotate the screen into portrait mode ?

manual

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com ... -GSbpS.pdf

it says

Max Arm Height: 16.41''

so, this is mid point of your monitor...
based on this you can calculate how it will rotate...

monitor size

Size Width Height
32" 27.9" 70.9 cm 15.7" 39.9 cm

28"/2=14", so 16.41" is more than enough

but I could not find min height, that is important for me...
simple is the best...

Exactly. You'll really want to leave a good buffer for the max weight.
