[Amazon Canada] ILIFE A9 Panoramic Navigation Robot Vacuum Cleaner, with Wifi and Mapping $314.49

The lowest priced Robotic Vacuum with Wifi and Mapping function that I can find. Also the lowest price for this one.
Notice: This one use Camera based mapping but not Laser.

these are life changing. i got the roomba 652 from cdn tire on clearance and have used it the past few weeks.
we figured even if it only cleans 50% of what a regular handheld vacuum could do, it'd be well worth the money in terms of time saved. and it hasn't disappointed us.

if you can, i'd highly recommend a robo-vac.

how would this do on shag like carpet?
I would also be interested in knowing how it would do on typical pile residential carpet?

Been looking for a mapping one, the price is about right. Not sure on the brand, suction power, or camera based nav though.

does this (or any robo-vac for that matter) support multiple floors?

My Xiaomi robovac can traverse over it and get surface level hairs. My shag carpet is like 1 inch thick. But still when I go over the carpet with a true vacuum, I know the robo vac didn't do such a deep cleaning. But then again, it's not fair to compare the two. So you'd still have to put in the manual labour for carpet imo.

Also, I think just for the record, the xiaomi laser robovac could be had for around $400.

No. They can't use stairs

Couple negatives I see, only 1000 PA suction which seems to be fairly low. The physical virtual wall device is a negative for me as well, mapping one's should all have the ability to use virtual lines drawn in the app as other robots support (e.g. Neato, Xiaomi). If not for these I'd probably be all over this.

There are vacuums that will save multiple floorplans yes, but you are required to move it between floors. This one I do not know, but Neato D5 and up does support multiple floorplans for example.

I have an old roomba, an iLife A4 and an iLife V5, one for each floor. I honestly prefer iLife over roomba, just my 2 cents

I love these vacuuming robots, it still impresses me every time how much dirt they collect in a week span

Roborock S5? I've been following that one for a long time, but I can't justify the $699 price tag

I have the iLife V5 and tbh it's crap. Can't set cleaning time, just cleans for over 2 hours till batteries run out. It pushes away at least 25% of the dirt in different directions, cannot set boundaries, already runs wobbly/shakey after less than a year and takes forever finding its station. It's just a dumb pos. Much prefer the Shark I had before.

The original one, very first one. Which can be bought for $340 on Aliexpress.
