[Amazon.ca] Inkbird IBBQ-4T WiFi Meat Thermometer - $98.99

Inkbird IBBQ-4T WiFi Meat Thermometer is regularly $139.99. Amazon.ca has a $41.00 coupon at the moment. That's a 30% discount ($98.99).

Great last minute gift for any BBQ or cooking fan. You can set each probe to individual temperatures, and you'll receive alerts on your phone when they reach temp. You can also monitor them in real-time.

Overall, a really good thermometer, the WiFi is a nice option. It's just annoying that alerts won't work if the app is closed.

I've had a bluetooth version for the last three years and it works great.

I have this and love it. It definitely lacks features you get on higher end competitor models (like better graphing, better alert control, etc.) but for the money and particularly this sale price, it really can't be beat.
I like it for my overnight cooks because I can set alerts for the temp dropping as well as going too high.

I don't have this problem (iPhone X and now 12). Maybe it's your phone's notification settings?

I'm on android and I rechecked the notification settings. If the app is closed and the phone is locked, I don't get the alert. I read in the reviews and forums other android users run into the same issue. The app was updated in November and I haven't had a chance to try it again, maybe it was corrected.

*Edit* I looked at the reviews from November, sounds like the issue is NOT fixed for Android users. The device is great, but the app leaves a lot to be desired.

Ah, that's really annoying. I agree though, they could increase the value of the thermometer exponentially with just some app tweaks.
