[Amazon.ca] Instant Pot Ultra 6qt warehouse deals 97.34 used-very good

Amazon just put up a bunch of these on warehouse deals (used-very good). some with just packaging damage. 97.34.

Yes I know the ultra was 99 once for new. Haven't seen it in a while. This has to be at least warm.

Also i've yet to own one so if I'm misinformed please correct me.

As a side note I think the viva 6qt is on for 99 at canadian tire. I think its basically a duo plus. Red color only. If that suits your fancy.

the markup for the 8qt seems outrageous.

agreed. I was lucky enough to score an 8qt duo a couple years ago on prime day for $99.99

i got the 'black friday' deal one at walmart. it was $48, i didnt know much about them, but when i saw a 6qt, it just seemed quite small. a 3qt one would be laughable.

I grabbed the 6qt $48 one as well and you pretty much always use the manual feature for cooking, even when you have specific buttons for rice or beans or whatever. So I never quite understood the need for the higher end models that were double or triple the price for features you'll likely never use - I think yogurt is the rare exception though.

I've used the ultra's ultra setting for faux sous vide a few times for steaks. It works pretty good. I'll never be able to sous vide a roast or some large cut of meat in there without a circulator but it does a great job maintaining temps for something like 1 or 2 steaks or fish

Instant Pot® Lux 6-in-1 - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01MFEBQH1

Feel like a LOT of RFDers got this one since it was $48ish at Walmart, Amazon, and I think Canadian Tire. Fairly certain is sold out everywhere and periodically I've seen the $48 deal come around maybe 2 more times.

All in all, worthwhile device. Just not a huge fan of the slow cooker feature which doesn't compare to your conventional one.

I got the 8qt duo plus off amazon a few weeks ago for $99. If you wait long enough it'll probably come up again. If you have a family with kids then i would definately get an 8qt.

I could see that being beneficial. For myself its just two of us and we would use for meal prep mostly so I think 6 will be fine. I'm excited to try it out.

It was 6qt on BF & BD.

Edit: Nvm. I'm stupid!

I want this but already have the 9-in-1 model :(
If someone wants to take the 9-in-1 from me (new inner pot & accessories from the Ultra model) in GTA, I might order this.

I bought this a few months ago...used very good condition through amazon warehouse deal...looked good until I kept getting the burn message. No idea why..I made sure I cleaned everything and still got it. Ended up returning it as it wouldn’t really function properly without that burn message...there’s a reason why these are open box returns...

Bought a new one and it’s worked fine
