Nice deal, there was a long time last year you couldnt find these for less than $100 to to supply issues. Got one, but its nice they are back in stock at a regular price!

I am still looking for battery deals. Might visit Costco this week to take a look. It seems the 24M and 27M was on sale last year.

you also need a battery box I believe. I picked up one from Sail recently. You probably can modify a cheaper box yourself but I couldn't bother with the extra work.

Not 100% required but very nice to have.

I got the clearance battery at Costco and ordered this motor mount (Thanks OP!).
This motor was on Lightning Deal awhile ago for $200 and now I regret not buying it.

I used to have interstate deep cycle 27 size and oh gosh that thing is just waaaaaaaaaaay too heavy like 30 kilos?? Loading it on the boat was a nightmare for a weak person like me lol. If I had to do it again, I'd get agm 24 size. and you don't need a fancy battery box if your motor already has the battery meter, save yourself some money and get $15 one.

This one seems really good. Perfect size for inflatable boats at 30". The shortest min kota offers is 36" and that was the only pet peeve being a bit too long for my seahawk 4. And 55 lbs thrust min kotas don't even come with the 36" but 42". This is the by far best motor I've seen. Battery meter is an icing on the cake. For $200??? WOW.

i have the Intex Excursion 5 and just bought this mount, I can get the battery from costco, the motor OP suggested is 36' is it too long? which alternative ppl could recommend, and what your steps in dropping them in water? do you need a deck to install all on before drop it to water?

thanks planning to use in summer.

I watched this guy's videos a few times and it seems that 36" is okay.

How much run time would that costco battery provide?
