Even my ipad pro 10.5 is still strong and fast and any android tablet would have faded by now lol

Man this is my biggest frustration with the ipad, editing photos in lightroom with a pen is such a joy to do because you can do brushwork with much more precision than with a mouse and the optimization of lightroom alongside Apple silicon makes for a very fluid experience editing large raw files... BUT importing those raw files sometimes didn't work when you select too large of a batch. Then weirdly those raws are only saved within the app and I couldn't access/export them for other apps to use. All that M1 power is being wasted by crap software.dfphoenix wrote: ↑ I have the 256 gb version of this.
Bought it to draw and sculpt on the go.
Complications to be aware of is there is little control over how it handles files. There is a file manager but if you randomly save a file in an app, that doesn’t mean you can access it via the file manager and have to export it through the app or share it to the right place or online etc…

Every time there’s a post in this thread, I come running thinking that someone is going to post about new inventory on Amazon, I keep hoping …
For those not interested in the deal but rather in educating others about non apple options, may I suggest the computers and electronics discussions forums section…

I do find my iPad Pro M1 to have the worst battery life of all the iPads I had.
BTW, I regret letting go of my iPad Pro 11. The 12.9 size is not very portable. Add the weight of the magic keyboard and this is a lot heavier than my Macbook. I think I will stop upgrading iPads now, the OS is too cripped for its power. I will just get the new Macbook Air.

I had the 12.9 inch but it was way too big to use as a tablet.
If you are using as a laptop replacement with keyboard sure it's ok if you are not holding it. The screen is amazing on it.
Using this thing one handed was so awkward to use I returned it for the 11 inch model. The screen is not as great as the 12.9 but I like being able to actually use it as a tablet.

Ok it's actually $350 for a 256GB upgrade...but this price per GB upgraded storage is still disrespectful.
