Good deal, and I happily picked it up when it was 9 cents more expensive.

I will just flag that for those interested in this deal to also consider the Klein Tools 3-piece set, which offers a very similar multi-bit screwdriver, plus two other fun sizes. (for twice the price, but a good deal for three screwdrivers) https://www.homedepot.ca/product/klein- ... 1001651043

For those looking for a ratcheting version, I stumbled upon the Amazonbasics version for roughly the same price. It also has the contoured handle, which I think is a better design over the staigh handles.

Please don't ask or beg for "thanks". Don't act like this is Facebook. If someone found your post helpful, let them decide if they want to make that click. The more you beg, the less you'll get. Cheers

This is the better buy, thanks!

I need the odd torx, and when I need it have to open up my drillbit set or go to my car for my socket set.

I'd still rather support Irwin than amazon's products.

Them lowering their prices and taking a loss because of their mega company can afford to lose a bit to kill competion is a huge A-HOle move.

Just like Costco? With loss leader products to get you into the store and buy more.

I wonder if there are bits that are terminal screws tiny on top and the middle but with base that will fit these standard bit socket holes (or adapter that would allow Klein's electrical/electronics bits to fit in a standard multibit screwdriver)?
Op, thanks for the post

Costco straight up doesn't make money on selling things. They use a plethora of other mind games like constantly moving displays, and in-store only deals, paid membership, but taking a loss selling stuff isn't one of them. They also sell food, which is a huge part of their sales. Amazon monitors almost every e-commerce website and match pricing in real time so they are the lowest price always, but just by a few cents. Countless Amazon deals posted here that link back to another vendor with an identical price and listing but it's like home Depot or Canadian Tire, memory Express, etc.

The only multi bit I've used that was any good was a Mega Pro

I prefer the Megapro to most others also, but the three socket bits in this Irwin - and the very similar Klein - are sometimes invaluable.

P.s. During Lowe's first years in Canada, I remember these Irwin screwdrivers selling for around $6 each.
