ATL of $21.79 ($23.79 - $2.00 vice MSRP of $34.99, which rarely goes on sale). CCC low shows $27.00: https://ca.***************.com/product/B07D3MB41T

Not OOS... You know, there are different colors... Just sayin'

Question is, why is this better then the Lavatools Javelin PRO Duo? (excluding cheaper price)

Heads up, orange isn't the only one but other colors are available too. Got a chiptole colored one. Thanks!

Edit: took a look at the descriptions against the PRO version. PRO has a 1-3 second readout vs 3-4 for this one. Also, PRO has stabilizer and can hold the readout while this one has neither.

I bought the PT12 last week and already used it on a hamburger patty. It reads fast enough for me, and I'm just checking whether it hit the temperature I needed. I don't need the memory feature or the illumination as I don't expect to be cooking in the dark. The PRO is handy for really big pieces of meat as the prod is longer.
