Can I use this for general PC speakers? I will listen to music, play games, watch movies, etc? I won't be producing any music or anything.

yea it comes with the 3.55mm to rca cable, just use the line out or headphone port of your pc.

its impressive you're getting balanced inputs at this price point.

Yes, I know and agree. But when I first read it, I took "monitor" as "screen"

These would be great desktop speakers.
Specs looks good, but don't expect them to be bass heavy. Monitors tend to be very neutral, focused on balance and clarity.

Loud enough to fill your room but not shake it.
Only thing missing from this is no wall mount keyhole, it's really meant to be on a desktop.

Very very tempted. I need a set of monitors for my music, does anyone know what the noise floor is on these? Anyone own them? Was going to get a set of yorkville's, they're a bit big for my space however

Was on the lookout for a pair of desktop studio monitors, will try these out. Thanks OP!
Don't spend two dollars on drying clean a shirt. Donate it to the Salvation Army instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning, buy it back for seventy-five cents.

I want to listen to music using these with my PC, but concerned whether it will be flat without base. Any thoughts or experience anyone?

Studio reference monitors are designed to not colour the sound. Usually that would mean that they will respond with to how the song is balanced. A well mixed song should sound great, whereas a poorly mixed song may sound worse than on speakers that aren't as flat

Kinda thought these would be headphones.

I'm a headphone guy, wondering if there would be any advantage to buying a used pair of Audioengine A2 speakers over these. I already have a pair of Polk TSI200 passive speakers from a deal back in 2012/2013, but they are too bulky as PC speakers plus the amp and wiring.

It looks like they have been much cheaper in the US, however, I think the lowest price they have been in Canada is $104.
