[Amazon.ca] Kenu Airframe Plus $20

Kenu Airframe Plus.

https://www.kenu.com/#/products/airframe-plus

Really great price for a Air vent cell phone car mount. It's got some really great reviews online.

Wife uses one in her car, keeps the device nice and cool in the summer time since it's being baked in the sun.

Regular price is the US is $29.99.

if you guys have a winners or homesense in your area, they usually have plenty in stock between $7-$15.

Real Kenu for $7? I doubt that, but if true that's a great deal. The knockoffs are bigger, bulkier, worse made, and in materials that will scratch your car or phone. IMO the real deal KENU is worth the premium.
Always in search of a great deal....

anyone worry about the extra heat added to you phone when you're driving in the winter with heat coming out of the vents ?

I don't use the vents in the winter, just the floor heater since i don't generally want hot air blowing at me anyways.

I find it hilarious that the words "real Kenu" were thrown around in this thread as if they mean anything. I bet if Gucci made a vent clip people would pay hundreds for it.

Used this for a year, then got a magnetic mount and never looked back (Aukey sells them cheap on Aliexpress). This is a lot more fiddly and requires both hands to squeeze the phone in.

There's a technique.

Assuming the arm stretches to the right....

1) Put the right side of phone in
2) Push the arm right using the right edge of phone until left side also fits
3) Release

I have that Airframe Plus. Bought it on sale from Amazon. Works fine for me. I have a LG G4 with an Otterbox case and I can get it in and out with one hand. Magnetic clips are useless with a big case.

I have the airframe+ as well as a cheap one from eBay/Aliexpress. The construction of the Kenu is far superior. Whether if it's worth $15 more is a personal thing. For me however, when it comes time for a 3rd mount, I'd go for Kenu.

Does the magnet affect the cellphone internals at all?

good deal

i have the older version that I use from time to time
(less now coz the car doesn't have closeable vents, and last time my phone died on me when it was blowing out AC)

it was $25 for the older one so $20 for newer version is definitely good deal
although I wonder what the difference is

for those people who mock it being a "real" kenu
it is much better made than some knockoff version and I don't have to worry about it falling on me while driving (safety first!)

last thing I want is to have the phone/clip fall and me trying to catch it while driving, or it falls and dings the phone and me trying to fish for it

I like the product. I have an original version from Kenu and a knockoff plus version. There is a definite difference in quality and usability.

That said, this is sold by an Amazon merchant and not Amazon itself. Has anyone ordered it from this seller and got the product in hand? Is it the real deal?
