Keurig K-Duo Essentials Single Serve and Carafe Coffee Maker, Black

I bought the K-Duo (main model, not essentials) as my 6 year old Keurig Plat was on its last legs. Bought from CT, first one lasted a week before the carafe side died, and but my second one is still going strong.

I too liked the idea of not only using single serves; originally my wife bought me a Keurig as she thought I was drinking too much coffee... Jokes on her as it just cost us more in k-cups.

I alternate between each... Some days I do a quick single cup as I rush the kids to the bus, other days I know it's an 8-10 cup day and I brew the carafe.

The only thing I will say is that the tank is small... I have to fill it to the brim if I'm doing a 12-cup carafe, but either way I get my Marley Coffee k-cup or freshly ground Marley beans.

Definitely the best compromise between the two, although I'd shell out more for the main model.
