I was wondering what was so special about this little thing to justify a seemingly unreasonable MSRP.

Thanks. While the multistream technology just sounds like a marketing gimmick and I hate the ads with the Corden guy it's not a bad price.

The tankless one we use at the cabin has become a bit long in the tooth with having to fill for every cup. Bought this for the house and the Elite will come to the cabin.

I have a Keurig 2.0. The needle has broken 4 times. Keurig has a secret lifetime replacement warranty because it is considered a product defect. But it is product defect, not my lifetime. And they have long since stopped producing the needles. So the last two I had to purchase on eBay.

I have been wanting to replace my Keurig for this reason. But our Keurig is hacked so any pod will work. I don't want to hack yet another one. So if I buy another Keurig it will be a knock-off that doesn't require hacking.

Keurig dropped the restrictions ages ago. All the newer machines work with anything.

I think $99 is very good price.

$99 is a very good price. I got one at $129.99 from Costco last month to retire my 12 year old Keurig. No complaint so far.

FYI I have one of these, the first one I got worked for a few months then one day i go to use it and it was just completely dead, there was a faint smell of like a chip or electronic burning but the screen never came on after that. Googling it sounded like it was a pretty common issue (https://www.reddit.com/r/keurig/comment ... t_turn_on/) , so just did a RMA and got a replacement one. This second one i have hasn't had the same problem yet so fingers crossed.

Things like like about it are that it has way more selectable options for sizes, as well as strength and temperature. Refillable jug with handle is WAY better than any other keurig.

Downsides is that it uses its own special mykcup lid because it has extra spikes, so if you have any of those from an old keurig they're now useless.

Huh. Same thing happened to mine. They gave me a new one without much fuss though.

I had a 2.0. The first one started malfunctioning after 3 months and Keurig replaced it . The 2nd one JUST had the needle break after almost 6 years. I replaced it with the K-duo Plus and I've been happy.
