I don't know that the people spending $10/lb on coffee overlap with the people who buy pre-ground coffee...

You need something with a bit stronger flavour... Maybe Grizzly Claw? But it depends on personal preferences I'd say..

I tried three sisters coffee a year or so ago. It was the most disgusting coffee I ever had. I don't know if the product had gone rancid, or if that is just the regular taste

How is Kicking Horse over marketed ? I've never once seen a commercial, read an add, or even seen any kind of special store display. Not once! It just sits on the shelf along with every other brand. I've never seen it advertised, and no, I don't live in a cave. Hell, it doesn't even have flashy packaging.

Rancid or bitter?

KH coffee is typically darker roasted which may result in a more bitter coffee and unless it was being used past its expiry date I doubt it would go rancid or bad.

I've also never seen any marketing outside of good word of mouth.

I tried a few, aside from decaf and it's hit and miss these days. Either not as fresh or waaay too oily or just ok. Anyhow, great deal for decaf, which was always good and good flavor. Would love recommendation on the strongest flavor they have
