[Amazon.ca] Kicking Horse Whole Bean $9.99/lb

A bunch of different flavors available. Not an unusual sale price as it’s been here many times but for those who are home more often you may be going through your supply of coffee quicker. Decent beans for the price and for once they seem to have 3 sisters in supply. Good luck.
If it’s not at least 50% off is it really a deal?

Kind of pricy IMO, I'm personally just increasing the water to coffee ratio 1:19

You won't really find much better deals on coffee if you are looking for something whole bean and of good quality. Most coffee for around this price or cheaper will be of lesser quality or it won't be whole bean and often times is in a smaller quantity then 1lb.

Anyone who drinks Kicking Horse have any alternatives for a similar price? Ethical Bean and Starbucks have not been enjoyable to me

KH Grizzly Paw was sold out when I check earlier today.

London Drugs has it for 11.99. A case might get me thru 3 months of isolation.

Thx OP

Kicking Horse Hola at 9.99$/lbs is really a great deal. You won't get anything closer to a third wave microroaster style bean at this pricepoint.

Both Save On Foods and Independent Grocers have the 454 g whole beans for $9.99 this week. I buy this brand quite frequently so usually have a PC Optimum offer that gives me 1800 pts for every $9.

Depends on how you like your espresso. Good blends in the northern Italian style are medium roast, have some robusta and are typically medium roast.

McDonalds beans or Starbucks Pikes Peak often on sale in grocery stores are pretty good. I will get Kicking Horse 3 Sisters when it’s $10 lb as it is organic and fair trade.

I’m more into filter coffee these days and Hola! is pretty much my go to.

If you like darker Kick Ass is really good value even at $14-15 a pound considering it’s organic and fair trade.
