Also having trouble. It's saying I don't have a kindle device registered when clearly I do (and I can even see and manage my books/previous purchases on my kindle through their website). Eh, whatever.

Thanks! I enjoy reading the history of these devices.

Both links worked for me.

Same issue for me. This is a workaround I tried and works:
1. Install Kindle for PC
2. Uninstall Kindle for PC. Don't choose "deregister" at the end of the uninstallation
3. Retry buying the $0 Kindle ebook

You'll see the book in your Kindle.

Is it really free? When I click in they say need a $10 per month subscription to read

How is everyone else getting the books for $0?
Koodo $40 Canada Wide + 13GB + 1000 Intl LD
Public $120 Province Wide + 12GB - $6 Autopay - $12 Loyalty - $45 Refer = $19 per Month
Freedom $35 ($37-BTS) North America Wide + 8GB + 1GB Roaming

You need to "buy" the book, not using the Kindle Unlimited service. Also, you need an Amazon.COM account.
