Spec says 100MB/s read and 85MB/s write while some reviews have 80MB/s read and 20MB/s write?

I don't get very fast numbers with the Kingston. Perhaps because I ran the test with the drive almost half full? Granted, that's a real world performance test.

Depends on the drive and the card. They are all different. And depends on how much you write to them. Your question was about time.

They must've gotten it mixed up

Select is similar to SanDisk Ultra
React is their version of Extreme

20MB/s sounds about right, I wouldn't expect more

Your logic applies to every single stuff on this planet though.

That was my point. You can compare particular products but you can't compare types of products. Having said this I think that endurance SD cards will last more re-write cycles than most modern USB drives unless they started making endurance USB drives. Old SLC drives and cards will probably last longer than any modern (TLC, MLC) flash memory. It's complicated and there is no single answer.

You should be getting higher read speeds. I'm assuming you're using a USB 2 reader?
