[Amazon.ca] Kingston 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 SODIMM Fury Impact - $49.99 (delivery January 21 - 22)

I just noticed that Amazon put this Kingston Fury Impact laptop memory on sale for $49.99. This is an all-time low on Amazon.

The only catch is that the delivery date shows Jan. 21-22, so you might need to wait a few weeks to receive it.

Good find OP.
I just bought Corsair Vengence 16 GB for upgrading my laptop. Is Fury impact any better then Vengence ? if any experts can give some insights. Thanks

Will this work in ROG Strix G15 G512?
Now 16GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz installed
It should right?

Thanks

It really depends on the model. I went through a lot of laptop memory from a lot of manufacturers to find mine.

I personally went with the KF432S20IB1/16, this deal is for KF432S20IB/16.

vs

https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KF432S20IB_16.pdf

Their model number are almost exactly identical, but KF432S20IB1/16 is dual rank and will perform slightly better than KF432S20IB/16, which is one rank. Wouldn't be an big issue if you're on a desktop where you can just fill all four ram slots, but on laptop where you can only put two sticks in, dual rank memory does matter ever so slightly.

Either way, it's not too big of a deal. You can look up the model number of your Corsair Vengeance RAM and compare to this one, but both this RAM and probably your Corsair RAM will perform better than stock RAM. And this price for this RAM is extremely good.

Shows $68.50 for me with a "used" option @ $47.49.

Even the Kingston store site is fubarred, as their 2X16 link for this memory leads to a 2X8 kit.

Wouldn't cl22 (vice cl20) counter any dual rank performance benefits?
