[Amazon.ca] KitchenAid KFE5T Flex Edge Beater - $17.49 (50% off)

KitchenAid Flex Edge Beater is on sale for 50% off, from 34.98 down to 17.49. This is the lowest price ever historically according to CCC. I got this for my wife on a previous sale, and she absolutely loved it.

Pretty crazy deal at this price!

Just bear in mind that this is for tilt head mixers. Probably won't fit lift bowl mixers.

super super super dumb question.

can you attach this to your drill and mix stuff in a big bowl?

I don't see why not but has anyone tried it?

Why's that a dumb question? If you think that's a dumb question, you haven't spent much time on this forum!

I don't know the answer, aside from "probably" ... Google "KitchenAid attachment drill" there's probably an adapter you can buy somewhere.

The product is good quality and with the right mixer it would be amazing...
Love how well the attachment works. Easy to clean.

Incredible deal. I bought one back in 2014 for $22 and I thought that was a deal.

Thanks, OP!

No, I don't think you can attach this beater to a drill. And your drill probably does not have the torque to mix stuff.

I'm not ruling out it being a dumb question, but I'll play just for S&Gs.

It will be more trouble than it's worth.
This has the female end that connects to the mixer's male end.
Chucking it will be a challenge.
An adapter would work, but why?

You'll never be able to freehand the flex edge contact with the bowl.
Better off going non-flex, if you even want to go down this path.

If insistent on the drill method, a beater from a standard hand beater would be the way to go.
Even a paint mixer intended for a drill would work better. (cut it shorter)

I respect the creativity, but this one is a dead end.

ok lets take it a little further :p

If you can get an adapter great.

Instead of a free hand drill, let's sub in a drill press... then it would work right? lol

The mixer has an orbiting action as well as a rotating one. A drill press will only rotate. If your goal is to sling everything onto the side of the bowl, then sure...

Yep, just imagine that someone puts a big bowl between legs and holds a Ryobi cordless torque wrench mixing the dough ...Face With Tears Of Joy

Hi, I'm new to KitchenAid accessories (this would be my first one).

Can someone please confirm if this is compatible with the Professional 5 Plus (KV25G0XER).
I didn't see any of the KV models in the product info.
