[Amazon.ca] Lavazza Espresso Gran Crema Beans 1KG (min 3KG for FS) - $13.99 - 3rd Party

This deal is still going on - from this expired link bought up by slam007.

amazon-ca-hot-lavazza-espresso-gran-cre ... 3-2470567/

Have to buy at least 3 bags to get shipping (3kg of coffee beans) - might be good for people needing a daily coffee. (e.g. drink 2 cups a day)

Ends up being $42 for 3kg. $1.4 per 100grams

The one I received - expiry date is March 30, 2023 - from Lavazza's site it looks like 2 years after roast date is their "Best Before Date". - Roasting date most likely from mid-late March 2021. (4 months old)

3rd sellers - direct store - https://italybestcoffee.com/ - here is their FAQ about "Freshness" and "Roast" date -
https://italybestcoffee.zendesk.com/hc/ ... ffee-fresh

Good for people that need a coffee that's better than Folgers.

Shipping was relatively fast - Non-Prime - took about 10 calendar days from order date to get here from NY - no duties/fees.

I see $24.41
Update: It is from 3rd party seller. Not from Amazon.

If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

Thanks OP! Ordered 3. So I take it this is better than the Lavazza that Costco sells?

I don’t like either one but, yes it’s much better than Costco one. IMHO

UPD: I should not say I don’t like… I am not a fan of Lavazza anymore. I used to buy it and liked it a lot but, not anymore. I think it’s related to my changing of coffee machine. Now, I am using larger portions of coffee, 15 grams vs before I used to have machines that used max 9 grams of coffee. I think smaller portions of coffee work better for Lavazza.

Thanks OP. Ordered 3.
It used to be only death and taxes were inevitable. Now, of course, there's shipping and handling, too.

Does anyone have experience with this seller (Italy Best Coffee)? Where are they located? One of the reviews from Canada complained about enormous Duty fees (which are likely to also trigger HST/GST/PST on top.)

I think the seller probably have 2 different business; coffee and perfume.
That is probably a mistake by swapping the commercial invoice with another box he is shipping.

For a 3 bag purchase at $40 I'm not worried about duties/taxes. If I ordered 50 bags I would be.

I've been drinking the Lavazza brand coffee for many many years. First in a percolator and recently bought an auto espresso maker. What about Lavazza do you not like and what makes this one better than the Costco ones? I know you mentioned the portion size, but I'm more interested in taste difference. Thx
