For those who missed this deal last weekend, the coupon is back.

You can use the coupon to bring this down to $12.99. Make sure you are buying under the seller 'BSLX' in order to apply the coupon.

only 1 coupon per purchase? what if you want to order multiples? You have to order multiple instances? That's a waste of shipping/carboard/time it seems.

Nevermind. I tried ordering and it's 1 per order max. Makes a great birthday gift for my son.

Couple words of caution:

- IR remote, not RF, so you need to point into receiver
- 12V power supply - lots of stories about them setting fires due to high current.

I personally went individual route - bought 24V power supply, 24V LED strips and RF remote.

Stay safe!

Any links to these reports? I'm curious to read into this as the first I've heard. I'd imagine these are very low power, or perhaps poor wiring?

My daughter bought my son a Lepro brand one and it gets really hot. Then my son noticed a burning plastic smell too.

I don’t think that’s normal and now I worried about buying any of these.

How does it work with the smartplug?

eg) If you tell the smartplug to turn it on and off, does the light turn on and off by itself and remember its last setting?
