I bought one on Aliexpress.. Pretty damn bright but also very very cold (light color).

Just go buy a linear enclosed fixture with a cord and plug, install it on the ceiling and convert the fixture socket to an outlet to plug it in...or if you have a garage door opener and an outlet for that then plug it in there. Then it's easily replaceable and you can use the outlet for other stuff, or adding another light, if you need.

Buy 3000 or 4000K CCT, get something around 3000 - 4000 lumens. An enclosed unit with something to diffuse the source (like a frosted or prismatic lens) will be less glarey in the garage too.

And buy from a known "brand" like Lithonia, Philips or Cooper instead of this off-shore junk. It will last MUCH longer, will likely provide more visual comfort (ie. less glare), and you can trust their life ratings. And buy it from an actual electrical distributor instead of a retail store. They'll sell to you over the counter if you have a credit card.

Makes it easy to replace burnt out bulbs without having to buy a whole unit.
Same here, I've never liked the idea of having to replace the entire fixture if the LEDs or electronics die. Much easier to just replace a standard LED bulb.
