It seems there is a release for the LEGEND OF KORRA: THE COMPLETE SERIES LIMITED EDITION STEELBOOK COLLECTION for bluray.

There is no sale or discount price. I am mainly posting this because there is a market for steelbooks as it is hard to get certain steelbooks in Canada. This is great for any fan and also for anyone who purchased the steelbooks from the first release of Avatar with the OG team.

This won't sell out. I'm pretty sure this is nowhere near as popular as the original series was and the steelbook set Best Buy had for that didn't sell out until it hit $54.99.

I thought I read that this has a lower printing than the Avatar set.

It looks like Best Buy started off with ~125 copies for preorder and has only "sold" 25 since it was first listed a month ago.

Obviously not sure what kind of stock they have on order for when it actually releases in March, but just for reference it looks like they had ~150 copies for preorder for Avatar when it was posted last year and then got in another ~350 copies for release day.

Of course there's the risk it does sell out, but knowing what happened with Avatar I just can't justify spending full-price on this so if that means I miss out on it I guess I miss out.

So I looked at HI Def Ninja and I'm not sure if it is purely the US allotment or the entire world's, but Avatar is said to have had a 20,000 copy run while Korra has 10,000.

Neither the ATLA nor the Korra steelbook covers look incredible, honestly. The LOK ones look more like screencaps than original cover art. Since the discs are exactly the same as the normal blu ray releases, you're only buying the steelbook and the box here, and the art doesn't really seem up to par compared to even just typical steelbook releases.

Maybe I just like the more abstract steelbook designs like the Parasite releases, but I passed on the ATLA steelbook and I'll pass on this one too.
