Paying nearly $70 for a remake of 27 year old game that lasts 10-15 hours seems insane

Yet here we are and it's sold over 3 million copies as of September 30, 2019.

Lol! What a stupid comment. So what if it's a remake??? This has been remade from scratch with better graphics and improved gameplay. It's not like they slapped the original in emulator which is what your comment suggests.

Besides that, this is one of the best 2D Zelda games and probably my favorite game on the switch. Easily worth the price

Fun little remake, bonus points for nostalgia and the dungeons are somewhat challenging still. Not much replayability but it has a high trade value at EB.

Most SDMs carry it though, so ~$56 there on 20x days.

Super fun game. Played it through again and it was worth it at least to me.

I think $40-50 is would be more reasonable for this, cute remake but not worth BOTW price.

I guess PM this at Toys R Us and get 20% cashback using RBC credit cards is the best way?

Where did you see it on sale for this?

Good for Nintendo I guess but is that because the game is that good or is Switch so starved for content that people will buy anything? Either way $70 for this type of recycled short lived experience hardly seems like a "hot deal"

Is this the Hot Deals forum or the Nintendo Zelda fan club board? Sorry but paying almost the same price as I did for BOTW for a GBA remake seems nuts and it's weird that people think this price is acceptable. Too bad you guys won't hold Nintendo to a higher standard

A group buy should be $5.50 per person. $44 at Costco (no tax) divided by 8 members = $5.50. That's what I charged to the members of my group anyway. And this is RFD after all, every penny counts.

I paid $48 for it, used a coupon code TRU provided after multiple order cancellations. Code wasn't supposed to apply to video games but it did!

It's a really fun, light hearted and casual game. Definitely not worth over $50 because it's not BOTW (which I paid $54.99 for last year). It's not crazy difficult so it's good with kids too.

I bought it for $65, finished the game, sold it for $60. Excellent game.

Some people probably would say going to Kanye West concerts or eating at certain restaurants is "insane" too.
Not everyone puts the same value on entertainment as you do. For those that want one of the best games of 2019,
this is still a good deal to them.

The game will still be one of the best of 2019 later on, when it's a greatest hits for $30. You waited a few decades since the original came out, why not wait a little longer.
