In my opinion, every intervention in RFD deserve a "thanks". Thanks given until now: more than 100,000

Coming soon to a Dollarama near you. :)

Good enough to give a new life to an old computer still on spinning rust.

Love how there's a deal for a 128gb microSD card for the same price at the same time.

Cheap but I’d say OS drive and not much else would fit on there.

To the contrary. My wife's 9-year old computer has a 128GB SSD and runs Win10. It's fine for general computing like web browsing, email, calendar, etc. Everything she needs fits nicely on that 128GB. She also uses Google Drive to back up her data automatically.

But even if 128GB isn't enough, if the computer can hold 2x 2.5" drives, install Windows and most-used apps on the 128GB for the performance boost and use the existing HDD for data storage. This will breath new life into an older computer (as will increasing RAM from 4GB to 8GB or more,)

So why would anyone bother clicking the product or yet alone this thread indicating its size?

Why does everyone on here try to find something to criticize.

If you have an SSD external HDD case this could be handy for backing up things like photo's or music for a good price.

It's like the clowns the post "wallet is safe". People love the air of superiority they give themselves by shitting on a deal that isn't for them. They can't fathom the fact that while they might have no use for the item, someone else might.

..

Thanks for the share @isrdum, I'm picking one up for an old desktop.

Like he said. Same for my wife's 10 year old laptop. And for that matter my Surface Laptop 2 only has a 128Gb drive which is more than enough for my university courses and web browsing.

Not worth the real estate in your computer case imo unless you're making a super budget build for someone else
