[Amazon.ca] LEXIN 2pcs LX-B4FM Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset $159.99 (16% off)

Deal of the day.

If you're a motorcyclist and looking for an alternative to the more popular, more expensive brands such as Cardo and Sena, be sure to check these out.

I have a pair and have been very happy with them. They've worked great for listening to music from my phone and for communicating with my riding partner.

About this item:
  • The LX-B4FM provides easy hands-free communications for you while riding. With access to Siri (iPhone) and S Voice (Samsung) voice commands, you can make or receive hands-free calls, listen to the best Hi-Fi stereo music, FM radio or listen to GPS voice guidance - all via wireless Bluetooth v3.0 protocols. Can connect to any Bluetooth enabled music player or GPS device as well as mobile phones.
Share the riding experience and enjoy conversation with up to 4 riders talk at one time at an intercom range of 1600 meters. Universal pairing feature, compatible with most of the Bluetooth headsets or earpiece in the market.
  • Functions well for speeds up to 120km/h. Lithium Ion battery provides up to 15hours music stream, 8 hours talk time, and 120 hours standby time. Uses the A2DP Bluetooth profile for wireless music & audio GPS directions, and the HFP profile for mobile phone calls and voice commands
  • Included speakers and microphone provide high-quality sound with advanced noise cancellation technology. New interchangeable microphones – allows you the choice between a boom microphone for open face or flip-face (convertible) helmets, or a button microphone for full face helmets.
  • Designed to fit most full face, convertible (flip-face), and open face helmets. Waterproof design handles all weather conditions. Featured snow and ice proof, the LEXIN MOTO B4 can even work in the freezing cold day about -3°F with all day battery. The LX-B4FM can be charged by any DC 5V chargers or connect to power bank, computer, etc with our USB cable provided. The package doesn't include the charger due to the delivery safety.

Thumbs up for anything motorcycle related :)

Do you know if it's possible to use wired earbuds with these instead of the speakers? Thanks.

Love these things. Great value compared to the expensive brands. This is indeed a great price from what I've seen over the last year. Was going to buy this model when I was shopping earlier this year but opted for a Fodsports M1-S PLUS for some newer features. Good to hear yours works well

Thumbs up for Motorcycle related

I don`t know this model in particular, I bought similar one from AliExpress 2 Year ago( I paid 120 for a pair), and I loves it, Can ride all day with music in my hear, able to communicate easily with my wife, she as is own bike, I am able to connect to my frustrated friend they bought Cardo for 400$ (it is supposed to be able to connect to Sena, but I never try it, I don`t have friend with Sena), to discuss with them during ride, and also receive vocal instructions from GPS
You can also answer a phone call, during you are ridding (thing that I don`t do very often, when I ride is to be far away of the real life)

But, whatever the model you choose, buying one of these think transform positively all your ride, it is the must own gadget for motorcycle. and choose a model with large button, it is not easy to switch song, change channel or answer phone when the unit have small button and you wear gloves.

Good luck

I've been looking for a similar device for bicycling. I'm not sure how these exactly work since I'm not a motorcyclist. Do I understand correctly that can I somehow clip this onto a bike helmet as is and use without additional earpiece or mic? Are these push to talk only or is there a handsfree option for speaking? Any clarification and suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks RFDers!

Kudos for posting this, however:

1. Bluetooth 3.0 is old, there are already products on the market with the more energy efficient BT 5.0 (like their own B4FM Pro).
2. The amazon listing states they'll randomly ship either microUSB/3.5mm version or Type-C version; if you have a strong preference for either, you may have a bad luck (however if the Type-C model is indeed the B4FM Pro you may luck out).
3. The listing seems to show only the boom microphone, suitable for modular/open face helmets, not the button microphone which is more suitable for the full face helmets. They may send both, but if it's a boom only, I wouldn't get it for a full face helmet.
4. For a lot of people who ride their style/looks matter and unless you have a blue bike/helmet you may not want to sport the blue intercom, there are models from the same manufacturer which offer interchangeable coloured face plates for the intercoms.
5. Not sure how applicable it would be for others, but as an Amateur Radio Operator, I like that some competing models offer an option to connect a radio to the intercom (yes, it's a cumbersome setup with a cable to the radio and another cable with the PTT button, but it's still nice to have options).
6. I've been using a very cheap (non-intercom, just the BT to connect to the phone) model sourced from Ali, but even that one has the volume buttons spaced out a bit better and they are also larger. I found that I need to adjust volume quite a bit in a mixed riding environment, so ended up ordering a model with the large wheel I can turn to adjust the volume. Again, not sure how applicable this is to others.
7. There are models in this price range which also include the handlebars mounted remote, this one doesn't.

Safe riding!

I would not get it for the bicycle helmets. The motorcycle helmets usually have cut-outs for the speakers close to your ears or you can make said cut outs yourself. Most of the bicycle helmets do not cover ears, so it would be a bad idea.

If you're looking to stay in touch with fellow bicycle riders, I would investigate the FRS/GMRS radios (depending on usage) and suitable headsets and if you're just looking to stay connected to your phone for maps/music/calls, I would just get a set of sport true wireless headphones with the good ear retention.

PS. Depending on the radio model, you may also be able to get the BT headset adaptor and/or remote (wireless) PTT button you can mount on the handlebars. That is if you don't want to use the voice/sound activated VOX mode of the radio.

Thanks for this really useful info! I'm mostly looking for a solution to communicate between riders so I'll look into the FRS/GMRS radios. If only bluetooth had some sort of walkie talkie function...

I ordered and have used the Fodsport FX8, as long as one is aware music quality at higher speeds suffers w all these communicator systems they offer good value unless you want to buck up to Sena or Cardo. I found I was not willing to crank up the volume to listen to music at a level that along with road noise is probably not that good. So I can return my current unit by July 24th and obtain this in a 2 pack for $34 more but can anyone comment on sound quality as ...

I considered the Lexin but went with the Fodsport FX8 at 125 for a single unit. This Lexin is attractive solely as one would get two units. I find reviews are subjective on the music quality. I think one has to have a very good helmet for sound isolation. I am using Scorpion EXO1400 Carbon, I would rate it medium'ish to good for road noise

Anyone want to give their feedback on this unit at speeds of 120kmph. I have found the FX8 to be good w button placement and battery life but when I start moving along at higher speeds I turn the music off or volume down as it is not audible. Just did a 1500km trip on H2 and will test it on my ZX11 next

There is a mic used for communicating answering calls and your cycling helmet would need to have speaker holes or mount spots by your ears. Dependent on your road/mtn bike sycling helmet it may or may not have.
How can I be broke when I am saving so much?
