Same discount Costco had on the 17inch.

I think this is a superior deal with the touch screen and slightly more portable than 17inch.

thanks

If this had 16GB of ram, it would be a superior deal but with 8GB I would choose the 17" over this.

I expect 512Gb for the price. This one only has 256gb SSD.

Agreed, I think 16gb 17inch is better value for the extra $$$ but if you are trying to stay below a certain price point this is pretty solid. Comparing to 8gb Macbook Air i think this is a better product as well.

cheers

Thanks for sharing - still a solid deal for those who don't want 17" LG Gram (might be too big for some)

This is such an inaccurate comment.

There should be one slot for ram upgrade if it is the like the 17" model, with smaller form factor and touch display I would say this is a good deal still compare to the costco deal.
Thanks OP.

The 17" seems like the better deal - believe it has 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. This 15" model is short on both.

You can get something like a Dell XPS with similar specs for this price on a pretty much daily basis.

The technical details say it is a Touch Display screen. If you want touchscreen then this could be it, especially when Costco Canada only has the 17" non-touchscreen on sale.

Less than 8gb due to integrated graphics reserving some.

8th gen i7 vs 10th gen i5. Hmmm.
Also RAM seems upgradable.

15in was on sale at Costco a couple weeks prior. No one put it in the hot deals section. It was also $400 off.

This laptop has killer battery life. Performance wise it's alright - it'll suit most people.

Nice deal. The Costco LG is for a different audience. If you must have a touchscreen, this is the laptop for you. Otherwise, go with Costco where you also get 2 year warranty.
