[Amazon.ca] LG Gram 17 Core i7/16gb/512gb $1699

Same unit as Costco but with an i7 instead of i5. Uncertain if it has 512gb or 1TB nvme (both specs listed on Amazon). I missed out on the Costco $1399 deal (which I think is better given Costco warranty) but I'm okay with the i7 upgrade for price . Work machine for me so the 16:10 17 inch QHD is a huge win for productivity use.

10th Gen. Intel Core i7-1065G7 (1. 30GHz, Turbo up to 3. 90GHz), L3 Cache 8MB, 15W
17. 0" IPS LCD WQXGA (2560 x 1600), Intel Iris Plus Graphics
80Wh Lithium battery (Up to 17. 0 hours)
16GB RAM & 512GB m. 2 2280 NVMe SSD
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201, Bluetooth 5. 0, USB 3. 1 x 3, USB 3. 1 Type-C

I had no idea LG made laptops. Is this a new development?

Hum...not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, it's a nice display and really light. On the other hand, it's not a Ryzen processor.

Never noticed Costco sells LG laptops either.

Kudos to a 17” 16:10 screen. Hope Costco have the sale again.

Seems very expensive, I'd rather get a Macbook at this price point.
PC: i9 9900ks, RTX 3060 Ti 8gb, 64gb RAM
Phone: iPhone 8 64gb

Gram line didn't used to be in Canada until recently, I had to buy my 2018 gram 13 from the US. Can't beat 2.1lbs with dual NVME slots and DDR4 slot.
