Just posting something weird but all the Amazon.ca links on RFD are opening in .com

Not a clue why.

Costco has a 15lbs one for $69.99 in warehouse right now, for those who want to try it and be able to return hassle free.

As mentioned, I'd just grab the Costco one, heavier too.

^ I've seen this one advertised as on sale at primecables' sister company a couple of times, though I don't remember its price. Can't vouch for its quality or maker.

I think 15lb is probably ideal for adults. I jumped on the hype of these a while back and got a 25lb just because it was on sale and cheaper than the lighter ones. Well 25lb is bloody heavy for a blanket lol. It's actually not bad if I am laying on the couch or just laying in bed while I am still awake, but it's really hard to sleep under for more than an hour or two before I push it off. It's just too heavy.

So sad I missed this. Been looking for one for my mom for ages. Do you think this will help with insomnia?

Just one size. I'm actually using the Costco version right now. It's more like a personal size, I wouldn't be able to use it comfortably with my spouse at the same time.

I personally think it's better that way though, my spouse doesn't like using every night while I do, so if it was a a queen sized blanket there would be massive overhang or I would have to double up.

I've seen people claim it helped with theirs, but that's purely anecdotal. I highly suggest buying it from somewhere that accepts easy returns, I love mine but it's definitely not for everyone

Agree with a lot of comments here.

- The blanket should be approximately 10% of your body weight. Too light, it won't be effective. Too heavy, it won't be comfortable
- Blanket should fit the body, not the bed
- Does it help with x, y, z? To be honest, you won't really know until you try. Personally I stopped waking up in the middle of the night (at least far less often) after I started using one
- Try to get one with a duvet cover as washing the blanket itself is not ideal...
