I checked Keepa (was trying to use something different than OP) and the lowest price before was $39.99. I just see it as it just went down in value so the mouse got cheaper.

Thanks OP! Going to order one soon! :)

Thanks OP.
I have the G502 and it by far the best and most reliable mouse I have ever owned. I got the G402 now for a backup and possibly a future build. for under 40 you cant go wrong.

Is there a similar lightweight Logitech mouse like this, but wireless? My wife has an older one, but wants to go wireless. She doesn't like my MX Master or MX Master 2S due to their weight.

Rather pay 3 cents more at $36.81, sold by Amazon instead of 3rd party

I believe it's the G502 minus infinity scroll and weight adjustability so if you don't care about those features, then they're almost the same mouse.

Found this:

The Logitech G402 is a great mouse, slightly larger than the G502, but it doesn't feel massive by any means. ... The G402 doesn't feature a braided cable, whereas the G502 does, and the G402 also has an inferior sensor to the G502, but I doubt you'll notice in day-to-day use.

Guess they bumped the price back up to $39.97 already, that was quick! Glad I got one less than two hours ago... It's still a good deal regardless but if you want to save money and still want it, there's a "Very Good" Amazon warehouse deal for $34.23. There's one left in stock for the warehouse deal, otherwise it's $39.97 for a new one.

Hahahaha @ Logitech. By calling it Hyperion Fury with Fusion Engine makes it sound like a damn space ship. I was very disappointed to say the least. Maybe if humans are still around in a hundred years we'll have a real Hyperion Fury with Fusion Engine.

I had this mouse, I liked it but gave me the far too common double click issue after 14 months.

I also had the G502 and hated it. Too small for someone with large hands using palm grip. The scroll wheel felt so strange.

Did you send them an email...? G402 has 2 year warranty - they usually just send you a brand new one.

Do you have to send your mouse back to them?
