[Amazon.ca] Logitech G903 (2017 model) - $75.20

So, my work has provided money to spend to buy for working from home... and I've been looking at different wireless mouses... and this one just went down in price from$129.99 to $75.20.

This could be a limited time deal... so, I pulled the trigger. I wanted/needed a mouse that has the hyper scroll and the side tilt.

Literally, buy now... think later.

Update: this model is 2017 release... this link is the updated 2019 model at $169.99 https://www.amazon.ca/Logitech-Lightspe ... YVB6PSVC3V

never owned a wireless mouse before. Would there be any issues if dongle is at the back of the case? PC is on top of my desk beside my mouse.

It's getting pretty old now but it's still a solid mouse and performs well for the cost.

Normally no issues, but for Logitech Lightspeed it's recommended to have it in sight of the mouse. I'm not sure if it'll become unusable at all, or just a dent on performance tho.

It does come with a cord to charge and a USB adapter (micro-B to USB-A), and you can plug the dongle on that.

FIW Been using its predecessor G900 for 2 years now and it's been great if you like the form factor. Having 4 buttons (2 on the right, 2 on the left) has been useful for gaming as well after a learning curve of using the pinky for sideclicking.

Battery-wise, it holds a good charge for almost a week until I'm reminded I need to plug it.

I have a G602 and I can say from my own experience that if you put the dongle in the back there may be issues in reception. With the included dongle wire you can reposition it (like nearer to your mouse without interference) then it will be okay.

Older Model.

G903 Hero has 16k dpi (firmware update taking it to 25k dpi soon), this one is the older 12k dpi.

Most significantly, the battery life on this older model is 24 hours with RGB, 32 hours no RGB
Newer G903 Hero has 140 hour battery life with RGB, 180 hours no RGB.

Older model I believe.. https://www.logitechg.com/en-ca/product ... 05670.html has part number as 910-005670 which is same as the 169 one. The one that OP posted is 910-005083

But I think it's still pretty hot

I'd nab this one over the newer model - the sensor is already plenty good and battery life (based on my G900) is already the better part of a week. And it charges pretty quick, too.

$75 vs $160 is a huge difference.
