[Amazon.ca] Logitech M585 Multi-Device Wireless Mouse for $39.99 ($49.99 - $10)

Logitech M585 Multi-Device Wireless Mouse - with Bluetooth or USB, 2 Year Battery Life, Graphite.

The price was 49.99 for a while. This is one of the good mice with multi-device connectivity from Logitech.

I remember getting my MX Master 2s for this price, and bought 2 in case the first one died. I'm still using the first one. I work from home, and outside of work I'm on my computer for the majority of the day as well. The thing rarely ever needs a recharge, and has been going solid for nearly 2 years now. Best investment in a mouse by far for me.

Even right now on thesource they have it listed for 79.99 on sale (75$ if you have EPP) https://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/computer ... exa3Rar8sw

It supports pairing up to 3 devices (1 with USB receiver + 2 bluetooth connections) and even has features like supporting copy and paste from device to device.

Not to hijack your thread, but if someone is looking to spend a bit more, I couldn't recommend this mouse enough. For a cheaper price, the M585 is a good deal, but the ergo/design of it is not appealing to me.

M585 is more portable, meant more for mobile devices/laptops.
M720 is larger and more ergonomic, but less portable.

In experience and based on several other reviews, many Logitech mice are unreliable or have poor quality issues such as random disconnects, pausing, plastic components falling apart prematurely and often immediately after the warranty period has expired. Logitech customer service is quite horrible too. YMMV.

Picked this up so $30ish a couple of years ago. No major complaints. Still my daily use mouse.

Sometimes it doesn't like my dark blue mousepad and will stutter on it, removing it from the pad resolves the issue. It happens randomly and sporadically.

I installed the bloatware logitech software that is required to use it for two devices (I installed it to customize the buttons), and it kept randomly spiking the cpu usage, a Google Search found this was the culprit. Not sure if they fixed the issue. I've been using XMouse to customize the buttons without all the bloat and have no issues with that since.

I'm not interested in using it on two devices. I'm using the USB, but initially tested the Bluetooth with no issues.

Overall it's built pretty well, feels good in the hand. It does have a fairly loud click if that's a factor. I would buy again at $30ish, but I'm not sure where mouse prices are at right now.

I've had hardware defects with 3/3 Razer mice products that I've purchased (their higher end models too), I've been using Logitech now for several years, and actually it's what my company provides to all employees. Personally, I use the G613 keyboard (I think best value wireless mechanical keyboard), and the Master MX 2s for mouse without any issues for nearly 2 years so far.

This is just to say, that YMMV can apply to pretty much every consumer electronic, especially something like mice/keyboards that are used under varying conditions.

I've had the opposite experience. My MX master lasted 10 years. I did have a sticky left button in year two of owning it and Logitech sent me a brand new mouse with no questions asked. I have noticed their warranties have gotten shorter. Haven't had to use their customer service in the last 10 years so maybe they've gotten worse,

I've also used a variety of other Logitech mice through my jobs and never had a issue with them. I've always used the USB receiver though.

With Bluetooth I've noticed both Logitech and Microsoft mice can have delay on my surface laptop every once in a while.
