[Amazon.ca] Longer Orange 30 - Resin 3D Printer - 33% off with code - $100

I have no experience with this brand or model myself, but if you're interested in trying out resin 3D printing, this seems like a pretty solid deal. 2K resolution on the screen that is used to block pixels when applying UV light.
Print volume 4.72 x 2.68 x 6.69 Inches

Price is $150, but promo code 25L729HC brings it to $100.

If this is correct, this printer is $339 USD on Amazon.com

https://www.amazon.com/Longer-LONGER-SL ... MFKK9?th=1

EDIT:

Outside of that, I cannot comment on it, besides it's on fire hot, if it's legit.

EDIT: Similar size creality resin printer (not really known for their resin stuff) is $165: https://www.amazon.ca/Photocuring-Preci ... DM8XK&th=1

I paid around 3 times this much for my similarly spec'ed resin a while back. I might even have worse resolution on my screen tbh. Can't justify the purchase since I already have one, but I'd be all over it if I didn't. It's fulfilled by Amazon, so shouldn't be too much hassle if it's complete garbage and needs to go back.

It's $189 USD on the official site so that US amazon link is suuuuuper marked up.
EDIT: This is the correct link: https://www.longer3d.com/products/orang ... 3d-printer
Still incorrect price on amazon.com though.

Pay 200$ and buy the Voxelab Proxima (not Polaris) which is a mono LCD and unlike the outdated color LCD on this model. The mono LCD results in 4 times faster print speed, better quality prints and longer lcd life.

EDit: I bought one for work today and the 200$ option seems to be temporarily unavailable on amazon

An IPA wash method and A UV curing method. You can wash with IPA and a toothbrush if you want and use a UV nail cure station, a rotating base to expose the finished print evenly or a wash+ cure station which looks like a 3d printer but around 150$

You also need 405nm resin. About 50$ per kg

However, there's been a breakthrough in resin printers which will make current printers look like dinosaurs:
https://hackaday.com/2021/09/16/continuous-resin-printer-shows-the-speed/

280mm/hr print speed.
That's amazing, but it's not something that a standard user will own anytime soon, especially nowhere near the price of $100, not within the next ~3 years at my estimation, and again, nowhere near $100.

Not buying a $100 entry level thing to get used to it to see if it's a hobby you may be interested in because there's something that's barely even a prototype and not ready for mass production is a flawed logic.

I was going to comment on that, but wardaddy said it.
Mono is preferred, but you need to balance that with overall value and what you're willing to pay.
Personally, if I were purchasing, I would not consider colour.

It does come with a "steel shovel" though. LOL

My buddy has this printer. He built an enclosure for it that he then vents outside. I don't think you'd want this venting into your living space. Seems like a very good price. Even at $133.
