brown is quite ugly , may be best fit for old basements close to the bar areas...

You don't want to have to touch spray painted light switches. They'll always feel gross and will probably collect filth more than smooth plastic.

If you go into a room twice a day, so you flip the light switch four total times, that's 1500 per year. Not worth touching a gross switch 1500 times to save 2000 cents.

I got 4 of those and just arrived... no plate, just switch...
good quality... brown...
if I hate the color after install, I am planning to put a white sticker on it LOL, it covers 90+% of brown but not the otside trim, it is ok...

I had old leviton dimmers and somehow they do not work with my pot light - for my new basement

some of them are flickering on low settings and after turn-off while setting is low, when I turn it on, it does not work unless I turn it up and down, very annoying...

also got these bulbs, 6 for $75 as well:

INCARLED 4Inch 5CCT LED Recessed Slim Pot Light with Junction Box, 2700K 3000K 3500K 4000K 5000K Color Changeable Dimmable IC Rated Ceiling Lighting 9W 750LM (6pack, 5000K/4000K/3500K/3000K/2700K-5CCT)

lets see if it works with new dimmer and/or new bulbs...

Might as well go without a plate and keep the RFD-cheapskate look intact Face With Tears Of Joy.

I have 6 of these lights, installed in my home office (very similar), and have the Lutron Dimmer and have no issues with it, even on low settings.

You can probably use a cricut to cut some stickers to size. :p

if you happen to have a failed similar dimmer in white - the faceplates are easy to swap.
