I didn't place order due to the one review saying it wouldnt go above 100m. What's the point of cat 6?

Just subscribed to that crazy rogers gigabit and now need to upgrade my tech lol

Sometimes, there are lots of reason cannot reach the speed. If you buy it and you think the cable is not functioning suppose to be, then the cable is defective and Amazon has very easy return or replacement policy in this case. However, there is only 1 person saying this. I believe either he got a bad cable or his network has certain limitation he probably doesn't know. Like the cable length :

Maximum Cable Length for Cat6:
100 meters for slower network speeds (up to 1,000 Mbps) and higher network speeds over short distances. For Gigabit Ethernet, 55 meters max, with 33 meters in high crosstalk conditions.
