I just finished my first ever playthrough and I think I got PTSD from the ending lol. I'll replay in a few months and maybe skip the ending...

For people on PC, even cheaper price on Fanatical but activates directly on Origin ie not Steam

Now we're talking! If we can get to $49.99 digital, I'll bite. I have all three of the mass effect games digitally and bought all the dlc. This price will make it hurt less lol. It looks very good, the first mass effect game is from the ps3 re work, I believe as well...

I bought this a few days ago, and boy is Mass Effect 1 a bit of a slog gameplay wise. I played Mass Effect 2 and 3 a lot (2 characters: Vanguard and Infiltrator plus NG+), but only played ME1 the one time and it was ages ago. It would have been nice if they could have grafted the gameplay from the sequels onto ME1, but no such luck. It's still pretty cool to go back and replay it though. Some of it feels totally new, some feels like a vague, hazy memory, while other stuff is etched into my soul. And I'm playing as FemShep this go around.

Is the planet scanning in ME2 still pretty painful? I know they made some small changes too it.

I haven't gotten that far, but yeah I read that they made some alterations so it's not as tedious.

I played the OG Mass Effect on my PS3 and loved it. Sadly never got around to the next two (same with Deadspace...and now they're remaking the first one). I am looking forward to this, but will wait for it to be a little cheaper with the backlog.

It's a bit faster than the original version, but the PC and console versions were patched with this slight increase as well years ago.

I guess it will be ''free'' on EA play in the next 12 months.
