Is this the same type of wax they use at the touchless carwash (shell)?
Seems to go on the same way but it doesn't last long...

I just got a bottle a month ago. I was told to use very little of it. Like less than what I thought was very little. Like 3 squirts across the top of my car, 2 on the hood and 1 squirt on each door. Kept my 5 year old Mazda looking slick af through 2 weeks of Vancouver’s Pineapple Express these past two weeks. I think it’s worth the money. Did I mention use very little of it?

No, it will also actually provide a nice mat like shine with protection to your plastic trim.

Sorry was supposed to be + tax. Changed to + from = and added a coma for clarity.

No it's not, car washes will use cheap stuff. This is ceramic wax and it needs some curing in theory but you will be fine without it. As someone mentioned here, I prefer turtle ice n shine or new hybrid line from turtle wax.
