Pro tip: Find one generic sock style you like, throw out all your socks, and replace with new ones. You'll never have to pair socks again if they're all the same!

With this plus the Sportchek deal I now have enough socks to wear a new pair every day for all of 2020.

I picked up a bunch of really good New Balance ankle socks from SportChek on clearance for $10/6 pairs, bought five packs of six and replaced all my socks.

This isn’t bad but it’s not an amazing deal. I’d just keep an eye out for another SportChek deal, they’re constantly having sales.

I can't speak for everyone but personally, I HATE the sight of long socks when wearing running shoes and shorts. Low cut socks stop just above the cuff of the shoe and looks better to me.

From a practical standpoint, I don't like how long socks feel and don't like how it compresses my skin above the ankle. It gets all itchy when I remove the socks also,

That said, it's how they look for me which is the real reason. I won't wear long socks of any kind, dress or sports, unless I am wearing pants to hide them.

Yeah, I get longer socks are appropriate for certain sports, such as soccer or anything you need to put equipment on your legs like hockey. I also understand the reasoning of compression socks, even if you have to wear shorts.

I just SMH when I see guys in the summer wearing casual shoes with long socks and shorts. Only thing worse to me is wearing SANDALS with socks and shorts.
