[Amazon.ca] Mens size 8.5 Saucony Razor Ice+ Running Shoes $71

It's only one pair and they're size 8.5 - and these fit tight so for somebody who normally wears a 7.5 or 8. Regular price is just over $200. I have three pairs of these and they make winter running in Ottawa super easy.

33-off.com has a wider selection of sizes (8.5-11) for $147. It's still a deal but not as good as the above.

And The Runner's Core has sizes 9-12 for $150 - again, a fairly decent price.

Isnt it dangerous to run on ice? These things have spikes or somhappen. False sense of security and an accident waiting to happen.

I tired these on at one point during a sale. The top portion of the gator fit really tight on my foot and I had to return. Overall I feel the shoe is some what narrow.

For ice these have extra grip compound on them. It makes no difference on normal pavement other then they will wear out fast. These are also not Spider-Man shoes so don’t expect to be stuck to sheer ice. They offer more grip then others. They will freeze eventually like other shoes.

After trying ice grip shoes I can say I feel like they offer an advantage but not anything like metal spikes.

The difference between wanting and needing is how you justify it.
