Then... I'd say you were seriously overpaying when I bot 2 HP mice for 12$ with bt which appears to have the same form and function.

Bought one in 2020 and it died in 2022. $10 is an okay price but don't expect anything special.

Decent enough price for a wireless mouse.

It would be difficult to go back to no side buttons though.

This is a very tempting deal for a MS mobile mouse. I have the old version with the Windows logo button that does nothing but pop up the Start menu. I can't even remap it to do something else. That's my main gripe about my mouse. It would also be nice to have a freewheel scroll wheel like Logitech. From the looks of it, I doubt this mouse has side scrolling. I got mine many years ago at RCSS for -- $8.00 and it's still serving me faithfully to this day. I was at the right place at the right time when RCSS was somehow blowing these out for real cheap. It has their Bluetrack technology which uses a blue LED instead of red, which this one will have. Mine uses only 1 AA battery that lasts for many months. However, the rubber grips are starting to show its age where it's all smooth now when it was rough like pavement to give me a confident grip for its small size.

If this mouse continues the same quality from Microsoft, this is a good deal. Microsoft currently sells this on their website for $15.95.
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

For $10, it is an ok mouse.

I found it not very responsive when moving, and the scrolling it not good.

I am not suggesting it for your daily work. For occasionally, it is

I have one of these, it's small for me to use every day but aside from that the quality is quite good for a price like this.

I've had the bluetooth one for about 6 years for travel. It's fantastic battery life and easy to use when on the road.
