The seat is designed to be used on daily basis, as any other seat in this category. It is certified for safety and use in Canada, USA and most of the countries around the world. The portability is an added bonus, as you can carry it with you on a regular trip (or to another country, once when worldwide travelling becomes normalised). Also, you can easily switch this seat between cars, if you have need for that.

Can you secure the base to the car? Hook or push button? Is it comfortable to nap in? Easy to swap between cars?

Thanks OP. for anyone else or ordered, what manufacture dates did you receive? I got Dec 27, 2019, which makes it a year old already with a seat expiry of 7 years from the date of manufacture. Thanks in advance.

This price is close to its cloudfunding launch price which was $99 USD. Looks like the price went back to normal.
I've been using this for close to a year now. Daily usage is good for 5+ year old. It's not just for travel use.

It does not have a hook or latch so it's not completely secured to the seat. It is pretty comfy according to my 6yo. If you have younger than 5, I would not recommend as they may need more protection and more firmly secured seat. if your car has semi bucket type seat, it has a very good fit as it is narrower than regular back support carseat/booster.

Only one is eBay for $300+$200 shipping lol
Might as well buy one at the destination
