Design and specs wise it seems to be a complete knockoff of the JSAUX dock, which is one of the most popular third-party docks around.

Considering third party docks can sometimes brick the Steam Deck (or at least it used to, Valve is aware of the issues but no idea if they fixed it for all docks, but at least the JSAUX one should work because it's so popular. More details about the brick here)

You already spent $700 on the Deck, the JSAUX one only costs $30 more, buying this obvious knockoff is... questionable, to say the least.

for a return of Jan 2023 why not? got it before deal went dead.

looks like it actually increased in price from $59 to now $65, don't know what that's about. also reviews mention "cable" as if it's a whole different product.

Read in the various Quest reddit communities about risks of doing this to the charging port where it caused a devices to burn.

If I recall because of sub-par quality being continuously de and re connected.

To avoid any fires, I stopped using mine after that.
