This is a steal at this price. I bought them when they were in the $300. They are amazing planar. They do have some sound quirks that people dislike. I kept mine, I still use them all the time.

Lol, frequency response is terrible. Either get a dynamic headphone in this price range or pay a bit more for hifimans planar offerings.

Hifiman 400i or 4xx (120 USD from drop) probably would be a better choice for planar.

I was looking into this but could not find it below 169 or 189 I think.

I picked this up before for $180 and also have the 4XX, and the 6XX. I prefer this over the others. I'm not sure why this sounds better to my ears. Maybe it is due to my AMP + DAC combo (SMSL m300 + loxjie p20).
