Fyi I wouldn’t buy it for the pen, tiny and passive unlike like an S pen or Apple Pencil.

Bought the G Power 2020 at Costco a few days ago for 169.97 (clearance). Haven't opened it yet, and now I'm debating returning for this just for the better camera.

Would 8 sim cards inside your phone be enough for you?

Just get a case and tuck the expander behind it. Now you'll be able to switch between the 8 sim cards manually or IIRC you can auto rotate.

Isn’t the battery in the G power much larger than the one in this deal? Obviously each person has their own needs (so battery life might not be as much an issue).

If anyone is wondering, this phone doesn't have NFC. The only budget Motorola phone I've seen recently that does is the Moto G Pro:

https://www.amazon.ca/Moto-Pro-Snapdrag ... 203&sr=8-3

Just wanted to note as I mostly use iPhones and use Apple Pay pretty frequently. If I were ever to jump ship back to Android to save some money, I'd have to get something with NFC for Google Pay. Still find it strange that every phone doesn't have NFC now seeing as it's so inexpensive to add...

Anyway, still a good deal on a bumper phone if you don't need NFC. Upvoted.

Is this getting update to Android 11 in Canada now?

If I never intend to use the pen, am I giving up anything getting a phone that has a pen?

Thanks OP!

I am looking at a budget phone: comparing this to a Pixel 3 , G Power & One Plus Nord 200.
The G Power was sold out at Costco.
At this price it's probably the best choice among the 3 although I would of liked the Pixel 3 if it wasn't Pink (B&H Deal)

Looks nice for the price, security updates, ending in January 2023 though.

Also no wireless charging. I switched to this phone from my old Samsung S7 and all my wireless chargers are now useless.

Many of the Moto phones don't have NFC.

But another Moto that does have is the Moto One Action (since I have one) and I believe the Moto One Vision (which was very close to the same, except for the camera configuration).
But I do find that with a bumper case, the NFC is a little weak.

I don't even use it anyhow, so would not be a deal breaker for me.

Yes, it gets the latest Android 11 (after about 6 intermediate update steps).

The Moto G Power 2020 has a crazy long battery life (longest of any current phone), but at the cost of weight (199g). The Stylus 2020 dialed it back a bit, but still has a long battery life. The stylus is a feature you might not use much (or never), but it doesn't really add size or weight.

Good phone for the money at this price.

Its probably comes down to screen size for most users.

I have a Zoomer Pixel 4a. Smallish screen , but I would put the camera on par with my work issued iPhone 11. Its that good. I do wedding video with it and am very pleased.

Pixel 4a will be a much better experience. But isn't the 4A roughly double this price? Let's try to compare phones at similar prices.

Was there an RFD thread for this G Power clearance?

Do you have an Item#?
Might check this out if it's on clearance at my Local Costco.
