This is a "Limited time deal" at Amazon Canada!
OK, not an amazing deal but it's the lowest price this AIB card has been according to 3xcamel even without with the rebate. For comparison, this card comes within $40 CAD of Newegg's U.S. price with it's current promo and rebate.
What's nice about this card is that it can be flashed with the XT bios and overclocked and comes with the current gaming bundle of BL3 or Ghost Recon +3mth Xbox Game Pass. MSI *should* have fixed the high temperature issue due to small thermal pads which plagued the initial launch of their XT variant so the card works well to keep things cool compared to the OEM blower versions.
The bad? You're dealing with a rebate to get the best price. It's back ordered until the 10th. If MSI didn't fix the thermal pad issue with your card, there's an exchange program which means more downtime. The colour may not be your cup of tea.
The rebate is only good for purchases from Nov 27 to Dec 6 though MemoryExpress seems to indicate a second rebate going on from Dec 1 to Dec 31. BTW, you can't combine both rebates at MemoryExpress for $60 which is erroneously show on their product page. The rebate is only good for Newegg Canada, Amazon Canada, MemoryExpress and Canada Computers I believe (the rebate at Newegg Canada lists all the applicable retailers).
