Thanks OP, I've had a cup or two of this on muskoka camping trips and it was nice. I never see this stuff on sale, looking forward to a French press Saturday morning!

How does this compare to Kicking Horse's darker roasts?

I usually stay away from coffee without a roast date, because it tends to sit on shelves for a long time. There's also no statement about origin, so it's probably a cheap blend. But at this price, I'll give it a try. Thanks OP.

Upvoted. I like their maple flavoured ones. If it was on sale at this price I'll get it. Nowadays though I buy green beans and roast manually using a Whirly Pop.

This! Also Amazon sale coffee has a high likelihood of just this. Having sat in their warehouse for god knows how long. If you haven't succumbed to the fresh coffee bias have at it..

It's especially likely it has been there for a while, if it is on sale.

Agreed. Just wanted to give it a spin at this price. But I think their regular price of $16 is utterly absurd. That's the price range I usually pay for fresh roasted, quality blend or even single origin coffee.

Was tempted as a back up bag when my fresh stuff runs out on me between batches, but I've already got one of those.. report back. I assume there's no roasting date? Might be able to reverse engineer based on best by date.

I guess with all these bean deals as of late i.e. Pilot, Roast and one more eco blend of coffee that was posted recently, is it okay to use one of those PC branded coffee bean grinders ? I sometimes use a traditional drip coffee machine but at times, use a re-usable k-cup in Keurig

Amazon shows delivery dates to Calgary of July 27 to Aug 7... maybe it'll be a fresh batch, vs a batch unsold due to covid?
